The two sisters could have been the best of companions.  Instead, their personalities are so similar, and both came from homes where they were initially the dominate dog, so when Michael and I married and meshed households, we got two wanna-be Queen Bitches.  Thankfully, at the time I had their half sister, Ruffian, from their mom's previous litter, and Ruffi's size, maturity and experience quickly put these two in their subordinate places.  All was well until Ruffian's demise in 2006, and since then these two regularly battle for dominence (oftentimes with expensive results). It's also the type of personality of the dogs that I like-dominate, pushy, flashy, and convinced they are number one-so no wonder sometimes these mega personalities sometimes collide.
